Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! How is it already February?! I am slowly getting sick of all this cold weather & craving some warmer temps! I decided that once a month I will do a round-up of some items I have been really enjoying.. This month had a ton of beauty products! I have purchased quite a bit of beauty related items recently. I hope you enjoy the round up of some items I have really been lovin'!
Rapid Lash- I've mentioned my love for Rapid Lash a few times before, but it has definitely been a favorite of mine this past month! I got a re-fill of it for Christmas & have been using it every night since. My lashes are already longer! yaayyy!
Lorac Mega Pro Palette 2- I love love LOVE this palette! I use it everyday & have already hit pan on my favorite shades. The kit has matte & shimmer shades & they are so pigmented. They blend like a dream! I mix 'tawny' & 'burlap' & place them in my crease. Afterwords I blend 'cinnamon' in my crease. I place 'prosecco' all over my lid & use 'sugar' as a brow bone highlight.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder- I heard a lot about this powder on YouTube, almost every video I watched they were using this powder to 'bake' their under eye concealer. I was online shopping at 2 am one night (I can't be the only one that does this) & bought it. Well, I am hooked! I put it on right after my concealer & let it set for 10-15 minutes while I finish the rest of my makeup. I blend it out with a brush & it leaves my skin looking flawless.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil- LOL this is a serious story.. prepare yourself.. go get some snacks & a drink you might be awhile. So, when my order with the Secret Brightening Powder came in the mail I got a sample of the Hourglass Immaculate foundation. I loved it like OMG it was fabulous.. I am a die hard fan of my Lancome Foundation but the Hourglass one was a game changer. So, I went to Sephora, got the shade that matched my skin & went home. The next morning I put it on and I thought "wow this is extremely dark on my skin" "maybe I put to much"... Well I got home from work and my face looked like I had a seriously bad spray tan! So I marched down to Sephora & returned it. A few weeks later I was browsing through Nordstrom & came across the Hourglass counter. The woman asked if I needed help & I told her my situation (how I loved the foundation it just turned a funky color on my skin) she convinced me to get a lighter shade (the lightest shade) & I also purchased the Hourglass Brow Pencil. I got home and the foundation changed into this dark color again. I came to the conclusion that it must have oxidized on my skin. I was so sad.. but don't you worry! One good thing came out of this trip. I am in love with this brow pencil! The color matches my brows perfectly. I also love the shape of the pencil. It helps fill everything in nice & neat!
Too Faced Melted Fig- This is the perfect winter lip shade. It is a dark berry with purple undertones. It blends so easily but you have to use a lip liner. It bleeds like crazy! I love the Too Face Melted products because of their longevity. I put it on in the morning & its still there after a few meals!
Dior Lip Plumper- I am definitely one of those women that wants bigger lips..This lip plumper is amazing! It doesn't hurt or burn like some other ones I have tried. It does just what it claims to do.. plump your lips! It is glossy but not sticky... I hate sticky glosses!
Forever 21 Cable Knit Sweater- I have been wearing these sweaters nonstop this winter season. I mean they are less than $20 & are very well made! How could you beat that?!
I am OBSESSED with the Hourglass Arch Brow!! Have been raving about it for over a year. It is my #1 favorite eyebrow pencil which says a lot because there are so many on the market. I can't be without it! Also love the Dior Lip Maximizer. It's a purse staple. Great favorites!
