What I actually wear to work...

I am so envious of women that get to dress all fancy to work. I would love to get to wear skirts & heels. I remember growing up my mom worked at a Law Office. She always looked so sophisticated and I always wanted to look just like her! However, I would look like a fool if I showed up to work in that get up. People would be like "how are you going to go on the playground in your 5 inch stilettos"? My 'work attire' ranges from these t-shirt dresses & tennis shoes to some cute slacks and a button up top. I need to feel comfortable and also look cute! I have these dresses in every color! I rotate them and wear one every month or so.

BIRCHBOX VS IPSY 2

Happy Monday friends! I am back again with another Birchbox vs. Ipsy review. You can see last months post here.

Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer- I've always wanted to try this primer, got it, loved it, bought a full size!

Overall, Birchbox won this month! I fell in love with the Lifting Spray it made my hair so thick. Ive always heard the Living Proof products were great & I am seriously impressed! Makes my hair smell amazing and seriously works! I can't stop using the Benefit Face Primer- works wonders!!

As you may have seen on the news its Noahs Ark 2.0 over here in Houston, TX. I am going STIR CRAZY!!! I have never wanted to sit in a classroom filled with 20 children more in my life... clearly I'm loosing it... 

Anywhooo!! I found this Free People top on major sale at Nordstrom Rack a couple months back. It, like a lot of my clothes got put to the side of my closet to shoot. Unfortunately I got super busy and never took the pics! However, I have found it on major sale.. Im talking 40% off! Ive linked it below and above :) 
I love the ruffle detail at the bottom.. so cute!

Sleeveless Duster

I'm sure if you were to ask any of my friends a random fact about me they would probably all say, "she is always cold". Which is 100% accurate... It can be 105 degrees outside and I can walk into a restaurant and in seconds I am freezing!! My classroom is so cold that I actually wear a coat while teaching.. I am sure I look ridiculous!! 

Well, if you are someone who is always freezing like me I think I might have found a solution! Dusters.... I found this one at Nordstrom on major sale and was pretty skeptical but they are very popular this season so I got it. I have worn it more times then I can count on my hands and absolutely love the effortless vibe it gives off! I also love that it isn't heavy like a coat but still keeps me warm. I plan on bringing it to Europe & styling it with denim shorts and some scrappy sandals!

Easy Everyday Look

I found this comfy top at Zara about a month ago... Came home and loved it so much I went back and bought it in Black, White, & Grey! It is perfect to throw on and head out the door quick! They feel 'higher end' then your average v-neck. 

I could wear these jeans every single day if it was up to me. They have the perfect amount of stretch & are still just as crisp white as they were when I got them!

Do y'all have any plans this weekend? I desperatly need to hang up my laundry & clean my room! (I am still unpacking from NYC which was a month ago....)

Yall know I love a good easy dress! When I found this one at Nordstrom I knew it had to come home with me, especially because of the price! It has proven to be very versatile. I wore it on the plane to NYC with a coat & I have worn it to work with some flats. After shooting these pics I have realized how pale I am.. I need to get some new self tanner, if you have any recommendations please leave them below!
